products Folding and Stacking Line Self-Centering Unit FALCON

Self-Centering Unit FALCON

Technical description

FALCON is a self-centering cross-folder for flat linens, designed to operate in-line with a traditional folder; after longitudinal folds, it performs a self-centering lateral cross-fold to ensure the highest quality of the linen bundle upon delivery.

The garment detection and handling system ensures that the counter-fold is always performed with optimal centering of the flaps of the previously folded garment.

The garments, folded as needed on the folder at the exit of the ironing machine, are received by the FALCON‘s work surface and handled independently across the processing lanes (1 to 3). The work lanes (or paths) are equipped with two sets of vertical photoelectric sensors that detect the exact position of the garment arriving on the work surface, determining the initial reference points of the garment’s two flaps (right and left).
